At age 9, I was introduced to the world of coin collecting by my grandmother. Even at that early age, I was instantly drawn to the unique beauty and symbolism of coins. Over time, my interest turned from simply collecting coins to learning how I could work with these coins to make fresh meaning out of their legacy. As a high school student, I learned the art of crafting coin rings like the ones made by soldiers in years past. This was a form of "trench art" that took many hours to complete. The concept was that soldiers could create a ring for their sweethearts from an object (e.g. silver coin) that was easily available to them.

Then I met the perfect person to help me take my craft to the next level: my wife Ashley. It’s telling that after holding her hand just once, I was able to design a ring that fit her finger perfectly. A coin collector herself, Ashley encouraged me to keep refining my craft. Inspired by her support, I studied classic techniques for shaping coins into rings, discovering novel uses for commonplace tools of the trade along the way, and even invented new steps in the process as I discovered ways to pour extra attention into every detail. By 2013, I had developed my own signature techniques for preserving details on both sides of the coin in the ring, while also ensuring a smooth and comfortable fit.

Today, I’m honored to create rings with over 25 years of experience and expertise to help others forge their special memories into wearable treasures.
